The Social Milieu (what is normally referred to as “society”)

The social milieu in my book contains three planes of reality (author’s idea) and is defined as the private plane of an individual (the inner world and most times at home) interacting with the professional plane of an individual (the workplace of the individual); and the public plane the individual is in (when not at home or at the workplace). It is the metaphysics of the individual and is what is normally referred to as “society”.

In addition, the components of the social milieu consist of three categories:

  1. The social structure
  2. The social landscape
  3. The social fabric

The social structure consists of the following components:

  1. Age
  2. Gender
  3. The human race

The social landscape consists of the following components:

  1. Social class
  2. Occupation
  3. Income level
  4. Religion

The social fabric consists of the following components:

  1. Ethnic race
  2. Personality types
  3. Psychological types
  4. Character traits

The social milieu is within the cultural border of a nation, in particular, the city. A nation can have many cities. The ideas in my book is applicable to any social milieu of the world since it is a metaphysical idea. The notion of it allows us to understand the cultures of the world.
